2015 Crestview Board of Directors
Sandra Block – President of CNA – joined the Crestview Board in 2012 and has served on the Crestview Welcome Committee since she moved into the neighborhood in July 2010. She works as an attorney in Los Angeles and previously served as a field deputy for former City of Los Angeles Councilwoman Cindy Miscikowski and Mayor Richard Riordan. She is committed to creating a shared vision of community and working with you to keep our neighborhood clean and safe.
Julie Ryan – Treasurer of CNA – and her husband, Frank, moved to California from Pennsylvania in 2005 to be closer to their daughter, Beth, and many other family members. They moved to Crestview in December 2008 and Julie immediately got involved in the Crestview Neighborhood Association as Treasurer. Julie has been active in education and community efforts in every town they’ve lived in, so it was natural that she’d become associated with the neighborhood.
Melissand Colton – Communications of CNA – has lived in the neighborhood since 1987. She is the official NewsLetter guru of Crestview.
Grey Blavin – Member at Large of CNA – has been a resident of Crestview since 2006. Grey is a creative thinker and a zealous advocate on behalf of the neighborhood, and hopes to be able to advance neighborhood interests and continue to build a strong sense of community as a member of the board.
Kimberly Gill Morales – Co-Secretary of CNA – has lived in the Crestview neighborhood with her husband and two children since 2007. She works as a Director for the Lynne Cohen Foundation, a national nonprofit organization providing preventive care services and education for women and families at increased risk for ovarian and breast cancers. She has served as a member of the CNA Board since 2014.
Greg Morales – Co-Secretary of CNA – has been a resident of Crestview since May 2007. He is fortunate to be able to walk to work and has a unique perspective on the neighborhood and its surrounding areas.
Leo Portal – Land Use of CNA – has over 15 years’ experience in the real estate industry, financial industry, and redevelopment of historic properties; and now seeks to apply these skills and experiences to best improve our Crestview Neighborhood. His dedication and passion to improve living conditions for the community has been his life’s pursuit. Leo understands that improvements don’t happen overnight or with great ideas; instead cooperation and communicating effectively with neighbors and plain hard work is key to bringing change for the betterment of all. Leo is prepared and willing to undertake this role with great importance and enthusiasm.
